STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Chuck Conner or Shannon Shoesmith January 8, 2001 CORN REFINERS ANNOUNCES STAFF PROMOTION The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) today announced that Jennifer Snyder has been named Senior Director of Regulatory and Technical Affairs. In this position, Jennifer will manage association activities relating to environmental regulation, food and feed safety regulations and all research programs. Jennifer joined the Corn Refiners Association in 1997 as Director for Technical Affairs. Included among her many accomplishments are the successful management of two Corn Utilization and Technology Conferences. This Conference, sponsored biannually by CRA and the National Corn Growers Association, brings together the best minds in government, academia and the private sector to review the latest developments in research and technology to promote demand for corn and corn products. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and a Masters of Science degree from the University of Maryland. She and her husband Ron reside in Washington, D. C. The Corn Refiners Association is a Washington-based trade association, which represents the interests of U.S. corn wet millers. CRA member companies process 1.4 billion bushels of the U.S. corn crop into a variety of starches, sweeteners, oils and ethanol.
