NEWS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Shannon Shoesmith November 5, 2001 CONNER APPOINTED TO WHITE HOUSE STAFF The Board of Directors of the Corn Refiners Association today expressed its delight in learning that President Bush has appointed Chuck Conner as Special Assistant to the President for Agricultural Trade and Food Assistance. Chuck has done an outstanding job on behalf of the corn refining industry during his four years as President of the Association. The Board recognizes that this is a very important opportunity for Chuck to provide valuable service to the agricultural community and to the country.
